Poetry in Pakistan has seen a resurgence in recent years, with some classical styles of verse coexisting happily alongside more modern forms. Poetry is an artistic form of expression in which a person expresses his/her thoughts, feelings, and emotions through words. While many people believe that poetry is a skill, most experts maintain that it is a natural ability. Poetry comes in various forms. Some best English poetry books are characterized by epic, dramatic, satirical or lyric qualities; others are written in a more speculative manner and resemble fables. Something that is common to all kinds of poetry across different cultures and time periods is the fact they are driven by cause-and-effect relationships.

their true strengths and potential. Her poetry stirs women into action,
inspiring them to realize their worth. Her writings evoke a feeling of humanity
and kindness for people and love for nature. Ms. Ali believes that, poetry is a
medium that allows us to express our feelings. The most profound and meaningful
thoughts, beliefs, perceptions—even desires and grievances—are often best
expressed through the words we choose when speaking or writing them down.
Therefore, the
true art of poetry is not in writing words that are attractive and pleasing—but
rather in communicating effectively with readers. The ease with which a reader
comprehends the situation or context being described by a poet is what really
matters.
